Day 4 of my vacation to Corsica

Well Hi there

I'm back from my vacation to Corsica and I can say that it's über-beautiful there :). There are lakes, mountains, rivers, forest (for all the nature-loving people who love hiking and stuff like that); and then you've got the seaside, with a calm see one day and huge waves the other.

I've taken so much pictures, so it won't be possible to put them all in one post.
Right now I'll just start with day 1: the flight and some first looks.
On the airplane I was sitting right next to the engines, so I thought why not make 'em work as a piece of the picture itself

It's almost nine 'o clock and I'm having breakfast in front of my computer. Yesterday I went to Antwerp for some shopping with my mum and little sister. When I'm thinking of it my feet start to ache again. Which is not very good because this afternoon I'm going to Werchter (a summer festival in Belgium), I'll tell you more about it tomorrow.

Summerstyle: Nicole Richie

Oh how I love Nicole Richie for her laid back boho/hippy -sort of- style. This is the style I want for summer, when I'm going to Corsica (actually in about 1 week). Loads of sunglasses, scarves in my hair and loose flowing t-shirts and dresses. I'm so looking forward to it !!

We're back !!!

Well today we had our last exam and now it's vacation time!! so we celebrated that by having lunch,milkshakes and catching a movie.. We had to de-stress and so we did :)

Lately I've been wanting some doc martens boots very bad..
Wouldn't you want to run around town looking like this?

I almost bought the 7-eyed light pink ones ..

But look what I found hiding in my closet -- 14-eye doc m boots with zippers -- I just had to put them on right away (sorry for the bad quality of the pictures)..

Magical *

I went to see The Swanlake by the Ballet of Flanders yesterday and magical is just about the word that describes the whole show.
The music was composed by Pjotr Tsjaikovski and the 'Philharmonic Orchestra' played everything live.

Marcia Haydee was the wonderfull woman who did the choreography.
The dancer that I was most intrigued by, Alain Honorez, played the bad guy: Rothbart (somehow I always feel more related to the bad characters). He danced almost non-human, like a creature from another world. Oh how I love the ballet !! :)

I first saw her in an add for Chanel, I just loved that picture from the first time I saw it.. so why don't I share it with you ...

My Maastricht buys

I saw these shoes like a month ago in 'Elle Belgium' and I wanted them so bad.. So when I spotted them in a store in Maastricht I needn't think twice :)

There's something different in the air around me, but it feels so familiar..

I slept late this morning, and stayed home for the rest of the day.
But I needed to rest. Especially because tomorrow I'll be shopping in the Netherlands. Besides with lots of clothes I'll be coming home with lots of liquorice sweets. No better place to find such sweets than in the Netherlands.
I'll make sure to post the things I've bought when I'm back..
